  • 0

Overview

Outback Hosting allows you to manage both your domain and hosting in one place. We are a domain reseller powered by eNom, and you can easily transfer your existing domain to us by following the steps below.

What You Need Before Starting

To transfer a domain to Outback Hosting, make sure:

✅ The domain is more than 60 days old
✅ The domain is unlocked with your current registrar
✅ WHOIS privacy is disabled (temporarily)
✅ You have the EPP/Auth Code from your current registrar
✅ Your domain is not set to auto-renew within the next 10 days

How to Transfer Your Domain to Outback Hosting

  1. Prepare the Domain at Your Current Registrar:

    • Unlock the domain

    • Request the EPP/Auth Code

    • Confirm that your admin contact email is accessible and up to date

  2. Start the Transfer at Outback Hosting:

  3. Approve the Transfer via Email:

    • Check the domain’s admin email address for a transfer confirmation request from eNom

    • Approve the request to begin the transfer

  4. Wait for Completion:

    • Most transfers are completed within 5 to 7 days

    • You'll receive a confirmation email once it's active in your Outback Hosting account

After the Transfer

Once the transfer is complete:

  • The domain will appear under your Outback Hosting client area

  • You can manage DNS, renewals, WHOIS info, and nameservers easily

  • Default nameservers will be set to:

    • ns1.outbackhosting.com

    • ns2.outbackhosting.com
(You may change these if needed)

Additional Notes

  • Transfers add one year to your current domain expiry (except for .uk and a few ccTLDs)

  • If the domain is expired but still in grace period, it can still be transferred (some registrars may charge a fee)

  • Domains in redemption period must be restored before transfer
